What our guests are saying…
Located in the Interior of Alaska, nestled on the banks of the lazy Chena River, River’s Edge RV Park takes on a whole new perspective on RV camping.
Beautiful RV park on the Chena River, nice picnic area, clean restrooms, showers, laundromat, cafe, and gift shop. Nice employees are an added benefit.Great location near the airport and university, with easy access to everything Fairbanks has to offer.
The beauty of this RV park is that it is situated on the banks of the river and it has its own restaurant. That was a big plus for us as so many are located in beautiful locations but have nowhere to eat near them. Some reviewers have mentioned proximity to the airport. I saw a couple of planes but it isn't that busy so it wasn't a problem. Clean restrooms and showers and a great laundry are worth a mention too and very pleasant helpful staff.
If not for this campground, our trip up to Fairbanks would have been a bust. The sites are mostly private. We asked to change to a river-front site, and were accommodated. The campground offers amazingly clean(free) showers, and hair dryers at every sink. The laundry facility is large and reasonably priced. There is a shop on site that offers gifts and necessities. There is also a restaurant located on the property, with outdoor waterfront seating. The meals were pricey, but had large portions and were delicious. The resort is clean, well maintained and decorated. We had a 32 ft RV with full hook-ups. We traveled with a family of 4, with kids aged 10 and 12. Highly recommend.
